So what is Découpage?
Traditional découpage can be applied to a variety of forms including realistic and abstract and consists of applying multiple layers of the material being used in order to create a 3- dimensional image.
Whilst there are many exponents of this art form, Stella's style is defined by scrupulous detail and finishes which can be made to create the illusion of ceramic or enamel. The original images are often culled from everyday materials and transformed into pictures which can be framed or made into unique cards which are a delight to receive and own.
At present three levels of courses are offered: beginners, improvers and advanced, each with a maximum of 5 participants, ensuring personalised contact in tuition in a relaxed, informal atmosphere in Stella's own home where people can work at their own pace.
Having friends to stay with you? An informal beginners day makes an entertaining and enjoyable break ~ especially on a rainy day!
